Come and connect with fellow library directors in the Southeastern Wisconsin (SEWI) region, get inspired with new ideas, find out what’s new in the region, and get a tour of the newly renovated and expanded spaces at the Watertown Public Library. Lunch will be included at no cost to attendees.
9:00 am – 12:00 pm — Leveling Up Your Facilitation Skills

Some meetings drag on seemingly without end, whileothers are engaging and productive. The difference — skilled facilitation! In this fun and interactive session participants will learn about facilitation skills that, with practice, will improve meetings.

Take some time for yourself, relax and have some fun. Learn how creating art can help decrease stress levels, refocus the mind, and enable a person to better handle life’s challenges.

Are you looking for ideas for your library’s in-service staff development day? Do you have some activities that went over well and led to some positive outcomes? Where do you go for some fresh ideas or to find presenters? Have there been some presenters or trainers you’ve had for your staff that were helpful? Share and gather some ideas you can use at your library.
