SEWI Adult Public Programming Meeting: Spring 2022

  • SEWI Adult Public Program Mtg: Spring 2022
     March 29, 2022
     9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Make your programming job a little easier by attending this regional meeting. Network with library colleagues across the Southeast Wisconsin (SEWI) region, discuss common issues and share program ideas. Register and select how you would like to attend this meeting—in person or online.

Agenda:

  1. Programs for underserved populations
    • Select population groups that interest you when you register
  2. Passive programs
    • Share what has worked well for adults at your library, challenges you have encountered, types of engagement, and ideas
  3. SEWI Program Speakers List discussion (old list is defunct)
  4. SEWI Adult Public Programming Facebook Group discussion
    • What it is: This is a closed Facebook group where you can connect with other library colleagues in the region to informally chat and share about all things regarding adult public programs at libraries. You do need to have a Facebook account and ask to join the group. We have members that are public libraries as well as individuals. Activity is low.
    • Discussion questions: Is this helpful or useful? Is it worth continuing? If we continue this group, is there anything that would help make this more useful?

This meeting is sponsored by the Southeastern Wisconsin public library systems: Arrowhead Library System, Bridges Library System, Kenosha County Library System, Lakeshores Library System, Milwaukee County Federated Library System, and Monarch Library System.
